Dr. Dahab Gaime

Dr. Dahab Gaime graduated from Howard University. Prior to studying at Dental School, she worked as a researcher at UCSF and also did her Dental Residency Program rotations. Since she began practicing dentistry, Dr. Gaime kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.

Her emphasis on patient comfort as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry enable her to provide her patients with the best quality of care in the field. Dr. Dahab Gaime has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical treatments and root canal treatments.

Her approach to your treatment starts with patiently listening to you. Then, after a complete and thorough examination, she reviews and discusses the diagnosis and treatment options with you.

Katie Dawson

Registered Dental Hygienist

Raised in Oakland, Katie graduated from Oakland Technical High School. Katie graduated from the College of Alameda before earning a bachelor’s in science degree in dental hygiene at the University of California San Francisco's School of Dentistry in 1976. After over 35 years of experience as a dental hygienist Katie currently works two days a week in the Oakland City Dental office. Katie is involved her community working as an officer in her church, enjoys singing in the Community in Praise choir, and volunteers as a guest speaker at health careers for elementary schools. Katie is a past president of the California Dental Hygienists' Association, and was national president of the American Dental Hygienists' Association in 2006. In November 2011 Governor Jerry Brown appointed Katie to the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.

Huyen-Trang, Nguyen

Registered Dental Assistant

Trang was born in Vietnam and moved to California in 1994. Trang is a graduate from Alameda College class of 2003 with a certificate in Dental Assisting, and in that same year in 2003 she received her Registered Dental Assistant License. Trang has 9 years of dental experience and loves all aspects of dentistry. She is just as comfortable chair side in the operatory with the doctor, as she is explaining a treatment plan. She is such a caring individual and one unique nature of Trang is her ability to calm patients during their dental treatment.

Yesenia Ramirez

Front Office Administrator and Dental Assistant

Yesenia Ramirez was born and raised in Hayward. She is a graduate from James Logan High School class of 2007, and Carrington College in 2010 with a certificate in Dental Assisting. She is a motivated and outgoing professional who finds joy in meeting the needs of each patient. Yesenia has also attended dental lectures, meetings and conventions that have equipped her with the experience and knowledge needed to meet the needs of each patient. She assist patients from start to finish, explaining dental treatment needs, and helps patients understand there insurance plan. Yesenia is bilingual in both English and Spanish. Her ultimate goal is for her to see every patient overjoyed with their experience and dental care received here at Oakland City Dental
